Children’s Plots and Daycare Workshops
Our daycare garden program connects young children with nature through hands-on learning and seasonal gardening activities.
In partnership with three local daycares—Creekside Outdoor Preschool, VSOCC West 2nd, and Everyday Sunshine Childcare—we provide each group with their own dedicated plot at Creekside Community Garden.
Throughout the year, children explore planting and harvesting while developing curiosity, care for the environment, and a sense of community.

Free Little Library and Pantry
Creekside Community Garden hosts a Free Little Library and Pantry, offering books and non-perishable food to anyone in need.
Operated on a “take what you need, leave what you can” basis, these resources promote literacy, food access, and community care in the heart of Olympic Village.

Community Garden Bike Tour
Our Community Garden Bike Tour invites residents to explore urban agriculture on two wheels!
This fun, family-friendly ride includes guided stops at several local community gardens—highlighting sustainable growing practices, unique garden features, and the stories behind each space.
It’s a great way to connect with fellow gardeners, learn about local food systems, and enjoy the beauty of our neighborhoods.

Onsite School & Daycare Collaborations
Creekside Community Garden partners with local daycares and schools to bring hands-on gardening experiences to young learners.
Our team visits the site and works closely with teachers to provide garden consultations, planting support, supplies, and seasonal aftercare.
Through these collaborations, we help create vibrant growing spaces that spark curiosity, support curriculum goals, and connect kids with the natural world.
